We must say goodbye.....

3/11/2008 - 5/1/2008

We were supposed to be two, but I was born the only one,
with half of my brother still holding on strong.

We tried to get help and sought to repair this tangled body that somehow we shared.

Though the doctors fought hard and worked past being tired,
we did what we could do, but we grew Oh, so tired.

Now we know there can't be one without the other,
here we'll stay attached to one another.

Knowing that all prayed for the best here we lay together for
this long eternal rest.

We thank you for your prayers, your support, and your love.

Until we meet again in the heavens up above.

My name is Hex.

I am a short hair domestic cat best known as a "Tabby".  I was born on March 11 to Vanilla and was an only kitten because my brother did not fully develop.  I am special because half of my brother remains attached to me.  That's why I have six legs. Yes, you read correctly, but don't worry I can still run, play, and hide from mom!

My mom and owners have welcomed me with open arms.

Because I cannot use my brother's legs Vet's have said I need surgery.  Since, I am only 6 weeks old my chances at a full recovery are 50/50.  My owners sought a second opinion and Vet's suggested to wait until I was 10 - 12 weeks old.

The operation consists of removing the extra legs, extra colon and correct the intestines.  The estimated cost is between $2,400 and $3,000.

Your donations and prayers are very much appreciated.  We raised almost $5000.

I want you to know that whatever money is donated you will be helping me and future pets that are born with special needs
